Private School Participation Process

Annually each spring, non-profit private schools have the option to indicate an intent to participate in federal programs for the following school year. The deadline for schools to indicate their intent for the 2022-23 school year in OSPS’s EDS system is April 22, 2022.

Title I, Part A

Provides services that support academic growth for eligible students who are failing or are most at risk of failing.

Title II, Part A

Provides services to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school leaders to increase student achievement.

Title IV, Part A

Activities to provide all students with access, to a well-rounded education, improve school conditions for student learning, improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.

Title III

Ensure that English Language Learners (ELs), including immigrant children and youth, attain English proficiency and develop high levels of academic achievement in English to meet state academic learning standards.

Support high-quality education programs for migratory children

Perkins IV (Carl D Perkins Career and Technical Education Act)

Professional development for teachers, administrators, and personnel in private schools that offer CTE Programs
